AMERICAN FIDDLERS’ HALL OF FAME NEW YORK STATE INDUCTEE BALLOT


There are four nominees being considered for NYS Inductee for the year 2012. Here are some criteria which have been considered when voting on past nominees.

1.The nominee is considered an advanced fiddler.
2.The nominee is known for his or her promotion of old time fiddle music.
3.The nominee is known for perpetuating old time fiddling.
4.The nominee is known for preserving old time fiddling.

Please read the biographies in the October 2011 newsletter and on the HOF website page.  Vote for the nominee you wish to become the next inductee by marking an X in the space provided.  If you are a single member you may only vote once.  If your household has two eligible voters or a family membership then each member may mark in the appropriate spaces. Put your name and your return address on the outside of the ballot or envelope so we may verify that you are a member in good standing, then return this postmarked no later than January 7, 2012 to NYSOTFA, PO Box 24, Redfield, NY 13437.
